Our Care

Our first support drive was established in 2009, with the opening of our first School Posh Kidz Academy. From 2020 we are joining forces in order to hopefully double our community support from 2021 when our Supernova school opens doors.

2009 – 2012
Our focus was on Door of Hope in Glenvista.

2012 – 2017
Cluny Farm Centre who support adults with intellectual challenges. Posh Kidz Academy held a charity concert to raise funds for the organisation.

2013
Our Posh Kidz School’s collected over 1000 items which were donated to an orphanage in Cape Town that burnt down.

2015 – 2019
Lungelo E.C.D Centre in Soweto, bringing smiles to less fortunate young ones over Easter and Christmas as part of our Posh Kidz School Annual Charity Budget for Easter and Christmas.

2017
Our “cookie for a toy” initiative won the attention of ISASA and motivated other schools registered with ISASA to join in and support this wonderful cause. Our aim was to donate educational toys to the children affected by the severe Knysna fires in 2017. Nataliya devoted 3 months (Oct – Dec) of the year, teaching less fortunate children the basics of English in Bulgaria, while she initiated a charity drive for a child suffering from paralysis.

2018
Posh Kidz School ‘Annual Charity Budget’ was doubled, since “Marcus and Mahlangu Law” chose to waive all legal fees and to donate the ‘amount’ towards our ‘Christmas Charity Budget’ for individual items for each young leaner at Lungelo E.C.D Centre in Soweto.

2019
January 2019, Posh Kidz School started Project “Posh”.

2020
Our biggest pride during the World biggest crises :
This time our priority were our PKT people and their families. With a great price of personal sacrifice (this time for the ones close to us) we have managed to keep our doors open and all of our Staff Fully Paid (working or not) during the 3 and a half Months of School closure. We are so proud that we made it for our people WITHOUT any retrenchments for the ones (team member’s) who were physically wishing to re-join our school on re-opening and physically teaching on our premises. We are forever grateful to all the Parents who gave us the cash loans we needed in order for us to ‘earn time’, when UIF/TERS and no other was willing to help) We are forever grateful for that gesture, because of YOU we did it !!!

Back to the community 🙂
In 2020 Our “KNOW HOW” was shared in the way like no other school ever exposed their operational manual publicly, all in a hope that our knowledge may help many (non registered) day care places who are less fortunate to gain the experience and knowing like our school was fortunate to learn.
